Movie review and criticism

Julia Roberts became a Hollywood star after acting the leading part int he best 90’s romantic comedy Pretty Woman (directed by Gary Marshall). The film received four 1990 Golden Globe Awards nominations among  others (Best Motion Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor).  Julia Robert and Richard Gere look very well together on the big screen. The chemistry is concrete beetween them.  When, in the line of duty as a working girl, Vivian (Julia Roberts) gets picked up by Edward (Richard Gere) things do not go exactly how either of them planned. Hired as an escort for business-related events, the down-on-her-luck call girls is showered by Edward with expensive clothes, posh accomodations, and diamonds, treating her like a modern-day Cinderella. At the end even the ice-hearted businessman cannot resist the special and exciting girl. Julia Roberts acts brilliant in this film. The role also earned her second Oscar deservedly nomination, this time as Best Actress, and second Golden Globe Awards win, as Motion Picture Best Actress.

This movie is obligatory for all fans of romantic films.
